Hayes Metals undergoes regular and independent Pre-Qualification assessments of our Work Health & Safety policies, systems and processes by TOTIKA, +IMPAC and ISN organisations. This provides you with verified assurance that we take health & safety seriously and have the necessary systems and processes in place to safely manage your project.
We take pride in our distinctive approach to recycling, guaranteeing full traceability and adherence to stringent health, safety, and environmental standards. This is unlike many of our competitors, who are known to ship complete or semi-complete assets and scrap offshore to locations where these standards are not strictly enforced.
Additionally, offshore transport, processing and smelting typically involve heavy use of fossil fuels, leading to significant carbon emissions.
By using modern induction furnaces (backed by our IANZ/ISO accredited laboratory) and leveraging New Zealand's largely sustainable electricity generation, our re-processed and fully certified materials have a fraction of the CO2e footprint.
