Hayes Metals generally accepts almost all types of trade scrap metals, including;

We are unable to accept the following;
- Hazardous wastes, including products containing asbestos
- Lithium-Ion batteries
- LPG gas bottles
- Flammable liquids
- Anything corrosive, radioactive or explosive

Taps and Faucets usually only contain a small amount steel so we will generally assess and purchase them as 'Clean Brass'.
When our experts assess the fittings, they will inform you if there is a higher steel content, which would result in a slightly lower price due to the additional processing required.
